Ingredients

  • 300g self raising flour
  • 100g dark or milk chocolate (chopped into chunks)
  • 25g cocoa powder
  • 200g white sugar
  • 150ml milk
  • 150ml sunflower oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • optional
  • instead of chocolate you can use
  • 100g blueberries

Method

  • STEP 1
    heat the oven to 200C/gas mark 6
  • STEP 2
    sift flour, cocoa powder and baking powder into a bowl
  • STEP 3
    stir in sugar and chocolate chunks
  • STEP 4
    put milk,oil and eggs into a jug and lightly beat
  • STEP 5
    then add to the dry mixture and mix until combined
  • STEP 6
    divide between 12 muffin cases
  • STEP 7
    bake on bottom shelf for 25 minutes (fan ovens 15 minutes)
  • STEP 8
    take out and cool
