Cheese Potato

A firm family favourite, once tried, always made again and again. Serve with a carrot or a few peas.


  • 1kg Potatoes
  • 1 packet of cheese, grated
  • half a pint of milk
  • salt and pepper


  • STEP 1
    Peel and boil potatoes until they are ready to mash.
  • STEP 2
    mash potatoes and add the milk and grated cheese and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • STEP 3
    Place the mash into a roasting tin and put in the oven for 25 minutes at 190°C.
