Moist Peanut Butter Toast, with a twist of margarine

  • 1 Tub of Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tub of Margarine
  • 2 Slices of White Bread
  • 1 Toaster


    1. Pop the bread into the toaster.
    2. Once the toast is crispy golden, remove from the toaster, and immediately spread the margarine on whilst still piping hot.
    3. Evenly spread the peanut butter on top of the toast.
    4. Serve.

Adding honey on top is a MUST--it's incomplete without the honey! I'm having some now and have been eating this for years--great source of quick (slow digesting) protein, carbs, and honey for lacing the intestines which makes for a smoother passage of digesting food.

This recipe was a little tricky to master but so worth the effort it was a big hit at my recent dinner party everyone wanted the recipe. Thank you this one is a keeper. :)

what type of bread do you suggest that I use for this?

I can confirm that this is not appropriate for those with a peanut allergy. I tried this recipe on my husband who is allergic to peanuts and it had the same affect that it did the last time we played Russian roulette with a packet of revels.

Use only the cheapest margarine that you can find. Mmmmm...Or for a luxurious twist, try some lurpack...

You take all the best of the previous suggestions (peanut butter, jam, Tabasco, cucumber etc) and sandwich it all between two slices of good white bread. To complete this delicacy it is then coated in chip-shop batter and deep-fried in 1kg of margarine untill golden brown.
