Delicious, scrummy and soft chewy cookies that kids and adults will adore

  • 4oz margarine
  • 4oz chocolate chips
  • 6 oz self raising flour
  • 3oz soft brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 2 tbsp milk


    1. Pre-heat oven to 180c and grease a baking tray.
    2. Beat the butter until soft than add the brown sugar.
    3. Add the milk, syrup, flour and chocolate chips, and stir well.
    4. Using a spoon put 8 spoons fulls onto the baking tray.
    5. Cook for 10min until golden brown. Remove from tray and cool on a wire wrack.

They have a nice soft texture and are very chocolate-y, but the batter part itself was too sweet for our taste.
