Ingredients

  • 550g Cherries (500g cherries, stoned)
  • 450g Jam sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod

Method

  • STEP 1
    Stone the cherries
  • STEP 2
    Add the cherries to a large saucepan, add the sugar and the vanilla seeds from the pod
  • STEP 3
    bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes
  • STEP 4
    Leave to cool slightly, then blend in a mixer until smooth.
  • STEP 5
    Pour into sterilized jars
