Cherry and Vanilla Jam

  • 550g Cherries (500g cherries, stoned)
  • 450g Jam sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod


    1. Stone the cherries
    2. Add the cherries to a large saucepan, add the sugar and the vanilla seeds from the pod
    3. bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes
    4. Leave to cool slightly, then blend in a mixer until smooth.
    5. Pour into sterilized jars
