  • 800 g frozen peas
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 1/2 cups grated pecorino
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Method

  • step 1

    Put the peas into a bowl.
  • step 2

    Peel and finely chop the garlic.
  • step 3

    Grate the pecorino.
  • step 4

    Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet.
  • step 5

    Add garlic, stir for a minute.
  • step 6

    Add partly defrozen peas.
  • step 7

    Stir for about 5 minutes over high heat.
  • step 8

    Season.
  • step 9

    Mash the peas.
  • step 10

    Add 2 tbsp olive oil and the grated pecorino.
  • step 11

    Stir.
