Serves 1 - 6 Portions

This is a wonderful starter for curries and also works very well on the barbeque.

  • 3 Chicken Breasts with skin
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion fried brown
  • 1 green chilly.
  • 1 sprig corainder leaves
  • 1 tea spoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 tea spoon garam masala
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 tea spoon bread crumbs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil
  • wooden skewers


    1. De skin the chicken but add some of the skin with the other ingredients and blend in the food processer. It should look like minced meat.
    2. Roll them on wooden skewers and set aside for some time.
    3. Heat oil in a wok and deep fry them after removing from the skewers
    4. Or Place the skewers in the preheated oven for 15 minutes turning sides at it cooks.
    5. Serve with mint chutney.
