  • 1 lb minced beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/4 pt beef stock
  • 5 oz can tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 15 oz can baked beans
  • Crumble topping
  • 3 oz oats
  • 1 oz plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 oz cheese
  • 1 1/2 oz marg/butter


    1. Heat oven to 200.
    2. Heat olive oil in pan add onion and carrot. Fry gently for 5 mins.
    3. Add minced beef and fry for 3-4 mins.
    4. Add stock with tomato puree, oregano, salt and pepper. Cover and cook for ten minutes. Stirring occasionally.
    5. Make crumble Mix oats with flour, oregano and greated cheese. Stir in melted butter.
    6. Stir baked beans into beef and transfer to dish.
    7. Sprinkle cumble on top, bake for 30 mins.
