  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder or starch
  • 1/4 Cup water
  • 1/2 Cup blueberries
  • 1 packet stevia/sugar
  • 1 cup yoghurt (plain or greek) (optional)


    1. Put all of the ingredients in a pan.
    2. Boil for around 8 minutes.
    3. Once cooled, add the yoghurt.
    4. Enjoy!

DON'T make this recipe. Please read the other comments. My experience was that the amount of baking powder added made this compote inedible and have me a really unpleasant taste at the back of my throat. There was far too much liquid which meant that by the time I had made the recipe - following the instructions to the letter - my "compote" looked more like a bowl of squid ink with the occasional lump. Horrid!

Come to that, what is a packet of 'stevia/sugar'? Stevia and sugar are not equivalent, of course, regardless of the lack of indication of packet size...

If this recipe has been 'moderated', why does it say 'baking powder or starch'? Hopeless...
