• 500g Bread Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Salt
  • 7g Dried Yeast
  • 1 Tbsp Golden Caster Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 325ml Lukewarm Water
  • 250 ml Passata
  • Fresh Basil small bunch
  • Garlic

  • STEP 1
Add all ingredients to a mixer with dough hooks. Mix for around 6 - 7 minutes making sure all ingredients are mixed in. Dough should be springy to touch.
  • STEP 2
Grease a bowl and add dough, cover and put in warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • STEP 3
On a floured surface knead the dough to push out any air. If you are saving for later cover in clingfilm and put in fridge. If using immediately cut dough into required size and roll out as required. Leave for 10 minutes before cooking.
  • STEP 4
Gently heat the Passata and Garlic in a pan and then add the chopped basil at the end.
  • STEP 5
Spread the sauce on the dough and top with selected cheese and toppings. Heat oven to 190c and cook for about 15 - 20 minutes keeping an eye not to burn the crust and cheese.
