Very easy chutney to prepare. can be served with snacks and meals.

  • 1 Whole cucumber- roughly chopped with skin
  • 4 medium tomatoes - chopped
  • 1 medium onion - chopped
  • 1 clove garlic-peeled
  • handful chopped coriander leaves
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste


    1. In an electric liquidiser, blend all the above ingredients into a thick puree
    2. Chill well before serving

Absolutely gorgeous. I spent years trying to figure out what was the salsa in Indian restaurants that well so well with the poppadoms... This evening decided to try and use up cucumber and tomatoes in the fridge. Delighted. Thank you...!

erm hardly a chutney! disappointed as looking for a decent cucmber and tomato chutney to use up a glut. Don't want a dip.
