  • 500g sausage meat
  • 100g sage and onion stuffing
  • 1 onion corsely chopped
  • 1 egg beaten
  • seasoned flour
  • 100g plain flour
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of fresh ground black pepper


    1. mix sausage meat with stuffing mix and chopped onion and egg to bind (the more you mix the smoother the patties)
    2. take out a small piece about 3/4 the size of a golf ball pat into a small burger shape
    3. cover in seasoned flour
    4. shallow fry over moderate heat
    5. serve hot with new potatoes and onion gravy or take cold for tomorrows pack up
