Ingredients

  • 200g brown sugar
  • 250g unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 3tsp vanilla essence
  • 1tsp salt
  • 450g self-raising flour
  • 400g chocolate, chopped into chunks

Method

  • STEP 1
    Cream together butter and sugar
  • STEP 2
    Add eggs, one at a time
  • STEP 3
    Add vanilla essence and salt
  • STEP 4
    Stir in flour, a little at a time, with a metal spoon
  • STEP 5
    Bake at 200C for 7-10 minutes
