Chocolate muffins with Nutella filling

  • 125g self raising flour
  • 125g butter
  • 125g castor sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • Nutella
  • Coco power


  1. set the oven to 190 degrees/ 375 degrees F/ gas mark 5

  2. sieve the flour and baking powder

  3. add everything else ( beat the eggs and throw them in with the butter, sugar, coco power and vanilla essence)

  4. whisk until it's creamy

  5. does it drop off a spoon? If it drops off easily in a dollop, then it's ready

  6. Fill up the cases (put a teaspoon of mixture in each cases. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

  7. Take out of the oven

  8. cut the middle top and put some Nutella or icing cream
