Great recipe, as long as you use the measurements exactly the sugar completely takes away the vinegar taste. I have used this recipe 3 times now and I took some to work for my colleges to try and everyone loved it and asked how I made it.

The 'sauce' did smell pretty pokey, but did the trick. I slow cooked the pork in it as advertised, but left nearly all of it in the slow cooker when I took the pork out to shred it. Shame the cooking sauce is disposable once its done but the meat was delicious.

The rub is great, but avoid the "sauce". Our whole house stank of vinegar, so I poured it away and put some apple juice in the bottom of the slow cooker. Saved the day. 8/10 for the rub Avoid the sauce at ALL costs. Just add apple juice, about half a litre

As this "recipe" contains half a litre of vinegar in it I am not surprised it tastes of it! I would avoid it!

Very disappointed!!! Ended up with stewed vinegary pork!! Had to pour most of the sauce away as it was vile vinegary water, I won't be using this again !!!!

Could this be made without putting the BBQ sauce over the pork and just have the sauce as a dipping sauce ?
