For The Crumble

  • 300g Plain Flour, Pinch of salt
  • 175g Sugar
  • 200g Butter

For The Filling

  • 300g Plain Flour, Pinch of salt
  • 175g Sugar
  • 200g Butter
  • 400g Apples (Peeled)
  • 50g Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Plain Flour
  • 1 Pinch of Ground Cinnamon

    Method

    • step 1

      Pre-heat the oven to 200c.
    • step 2

      Place the apple slices & sugar in an oven proof pan.
    • step 3

      Rub the butter & flour together until it forms crumble.
    • step 4

      Scatter the crumble over the apple mixture in an even layer.
    • step 5

      Bake for 30-35 mins or until golden & apples are tender.
