Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 slice of Parma ham
  • 125g ball of Mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp homemade or good quality pesto

Method

  • STEP 1
    Roast the ham in the oven until golden and crispy. Transfer to some paper towel.
  • STEP 2
    Place a slice of crispy ham on 4 slices of bread. Rip up the mozzarella a bit and divide between the four. Divide the pesto as well - about 2 tsp on each sandwich. Sprinkle a bit of pepper over each.
  • STEP 3
    Sandwich the other 4 slices of bread on top of them and toast in a toaster bag, under the grill or your preferred method, until golden brown on both sides. Eat.
