Lentil and bacon soup

Ingredients
- 8oz bacon
- 2 carrots
- 2 onions
- 2 celery sticks
- 6oz lentils
- 2 tins chopped tomatoes
- 2 & 1/2 pints chicken stock
Method
- STEP 1Chop onion and celery put in large saucepan
- STEP 2Grate carrots and add to pan
- STEP 3Cut up bacon and add to pan
- STEP 4Rinse lentils well and add to pan
- STEP 5Add tomatoes and stock then simmer for 1 hour
