Ingredients

  • 150g (6oz) Margarine
  • 100g (4oz) Demerara sugar
  • 20ml (1tbsp) Golden syrup
  • 200g (8oz) Porridge Oats

Method

  • STEP 1
    Grease a baking tin of about 30x20cm (11"x7") and line with baking parchment
  • STEP 2
    Pre-heat oven to 180C or Gas Mark 4
  • STEP 3
    Melt the margarine, syrup and sugar in a hot pan
  • STEP 4
    Take off the heat and stir in the porridge oats
  • STEP 5
    Pour and spread evenly into the baking tin for 20mins (or until golden) at 180C/Gas Mark 4
