French onion potato bake

A new, easy kind of potato bake. A great recipe for friends and family. Also perfect comfort food for winter.

  • 4-5 large potatoes
  • 1 pk French Onion Soup
  • 250 ml Cream
  • Handful of grated cheese


    1. Preheat oven to 180C
    2. Peel the potatoes. Then, using a mandolin, thinly slice the potatoes and arrange in a microwave/oven safe dish. Cover with cling film.
    3. Place in microwave on high, until potatoes are just cooked, 7 minutes on average. Meanwhile, mix together French Onion Soup mix and cream.
    4. When potatoes are ready, pour cream mixture over potatoes, then sprinkle over cheese.
    5. Place in oven until cheese is melted.
