Easy soft gooey meringue

  • 4 eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • White wine vinegar
  • Cornflour
  • 250g Caster sugar


  1. 4 egg whites pinch of salt Whisk away Once soft peaks (ensure they are definite peaks) then add 250 g caster sugar gradually

  2. Add2 teaspoon of cornflour 1 teaspoon of white vinegar (these 2 elements are important make is crisp on the outside and soft inside) put in greasproof paper like a cake size

  3. put it in a oven at 180 and then the minute it goes in turn down to 150 Cook for an hour in the oven then leave in oven to cool overnight
