Banana Bread

A light, fluffy cake full of bananas. Perfect for breakfast

Ingredients

  • 100g butter / margarine
  • 150g sugar
  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 225g plain flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Method

  • STEP 1
    Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
  • STEP 2
    Beat in eggs, banana and vanilla essence
  • STEP 3
    Sift in the flour and baking powder
  • STEP 4
    Bake at 180c in a greased loaf tin for 50-60 minutes
