Ingredients
- 1.5 lb of beetroot
- 0.5 lb apples
- 0.5 lb sugar
- 0.5lb onions
- 0.5 pint vinegar
- 0.25 tsp ginger
- 0.5 tsp mustard seeds.
Method
- STEP 1cook and dice beetroot, peel, chop and dice apples and onions
- STEP 2put all ingredients except for beetroot into large pan and boil until tender,
- STEP 3add beetroot and boil for further 10 minutes.
