Cream butter & sugar until nice and creamy. Add plain flour & cornflour a little at a time then knead until smooth. Split into two add to sandwich tins and pierce all over with a fork

  • 8oz butter or half and half marg to butter
  • 4oz caster sugar
  • 8oz plain flour
  • 4oz cornflour


  1. Cream butter & sugar

  2. Add flours bit by bit

  3. Knead till smooth and divide in two for tins

  4. put in each tin pierce all over with fork
