  • 1/2 pack beef mince
  • 1 tomato tin
  • 1 onion
  • 1 celery stick
  • 1 medium-small carrot
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp Worcester sauce
  • 1 tbsp Marmite
  • 1 OXO cube
  • mixed herbs
  • pasta


  1. Fry onion, garlic, carrot and celery for about 5 minutes/until they are softening.

  2. Add the beef mice, and fry till browned, breaking it up as you go.

  3. Add the tomato tin, OXO cube, tomato puree, tomato ketchup, Worcester sauce, Marmite and mixed herbs.

  4. Simmer for 15 minutes/till reduced to the thickness of your liking.
