Ingredients

To Accompany

  • 2-3 scoops of Walls Cornish ice cream
  • Strawberries (as many as)
  • A warm drink (coffee, tea or hot chocolate)

Cake Itself

  • 2-3 scoops of Walls Cornish ice cream

  • 150g butter
  • 160g sugar
  • 1 tsp of strawberry ice cream sauce.
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 100g galaxy chocolate
  • 200g plain flour
  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 100g galaxy chocolate
  • 200g plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 baking tray
  • 2-3 tsp
  • wooden spoon
  • 3 bowls (1 large, 2 small)
  • knife
  • Dessert spoon
  • measuring cups

Method

  • STEP 1
    Prepare the chocolate. Heat the oven to 190oc. Break it into chunks,then in half again. Measure out the butter and then add it in. Next you measure out the sugar. Add that as well. Cream together until smooth.
  • STEP 2
    Sieve the flour into the mixture, then add the bicarb soda too. Mix thoroughly in to the mix. Add the strawberry sauce.
  • STEP 3
    Add the required amount of salt. Then add your ready prepared chocolate. Spread the mixture across the tray, then place in the oven for 8-10 mind on the top shelf, then 2 mins on the bottom.
  • STEP 4
    Take out and cut into portions. Leave on trays to cool, them serve with your choice of sides (I recommend ice cream!)
