This is a truly rotten recipe. It forgets to quantify the sugar. First it says the oven should be heated to 200-degrees but then says 160-degrees. I followed the recipe to the letter and after thirty minutes the entire cake tin was Just a mess of runny uncooked mixture.

What temperature should I use on a fan assisted oven.
4th Sep, 2017
For fan ovens if it says 200c then it is 180 it's always 20 degrees less

I would just use the same temperature but keep and eye on the cake.
