  • 12 large bacon rashers

    Wrap each frank in a slice of the cheese, then a slice of bacon, covering as much of the cheese as possible. Place them in an ovenproof casserole (pack them in as tightly as you can. This will stop too much of the cheese melting out) and sprinkle with the chopped sage. Bake in a moderate oven for 20 mins or so (check after 15), until the cheese is melting and the bacon is browned. Serve on their own or with whatever you fancy, they go with anything!
