Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup lentils
  • 1/2 doz mushrooms
  • stock cube veg or chicken
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tblsp tom puree
  • 2 small chillies

Method

  • STEP 1
    Put lentils on to boil with equal amount of water & stock cube
  • STEP 2
    Meanwhile fry mushrooms in plenty of butter
  • STEP 3
    Add spices to mushrooms and continue to fry
  • STEP 4
    When lentils have reduced down add mushroom mixture & tom puree
