Ingredients

  • 1 slice of Poilane bread (or sourdough), toasted
  • half a ripe avocado
  • salt, preferably Maldon
  • fresh black pepper

Method

  • STEP 1
    While your bread is toasting, half an avocado. Slice the flesh lengthways, ready to scoop out. As soon as your toast is ready, pile the avocado on (you'll need to mash it down a little), then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
