  • 2 eggs
  • 250ml milk
  • 200g buckwheat
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla vanilla extract

  2. Sieve flour, add baking powder and cinammon

  3. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry and adjust milk as necessary so its a thick but runny consistency. Allow to stand for 1 hour

  4. cook both sides in a frying pan with a teaspoon of cooking oil

  5. Serve with sweet topping. We use yogurt, bananas, blueberries and a drizzle of maple syrup
