Basic light and fluffy sponge cake
- 2 eggs
- 4oz self rasing flour
- 4oz caster sugar
- 4oz soft margarine
- STEP 1Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until light and fluffy.
- STEP 2Put in two greased sandwich tins.
- STEP 3Put in the oven on gas mark 4.
- STEP 4Ice with buttercream and jam
