  • Oil for cooking
  • 2 peppers sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 2x400g chopped tomatoes
  • handful of black olives
  • fresh or dried chilles
  • 250g dried pasta
  • 2 x 200g canned tuna
  • grated parmesan
  • 1 red onion sliced

    Method

    • step 1

      Heat oil and fry onions and peppers for 5 mins, add garlic and chillies, cook for another minute. Add tomatoes and olives and season, simmer for 10 mins. Add the tuna.
    • step 2

      Cook pasta, then drain and add to tomato/tuna mixture. Pour into a dish parmesan over the top and grill till golden.

    Is it okay to not use tomato? And is it okay to use garlic powder instead of garlic cloves? Can I add mushrooms instead of black olives?
