Grilled honey chicken steak

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast pieces
  • 1 big lemon,juiced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 garlic clove,minced
  • 1tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp vinegar
  • 1 medium onion,minced
  • 2tbsp oats,(optional)
  • 1tsp rosemary leaves
  • 1/2tsp mixed herbs
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • salt-to taste
  • pepper-to taste
  • 1/2tsp-white pepper
  • 1tbsp-olive oil

Method

  • STEP 1
    In a large mixing bowl,first squeeze out the lemon juice and add onions,honey,garlic and soy sauce.
  • STEP 2
    Mix in the chicken breast pieces and make sure that all the juice is nicely mixed with the chicken.
  • STEP 3
    Next on top of the chicken add the remaining ingrediants such as oats,vinegar and others.
  • STEP 4
    Before keeping in fride take a knife or stick and poke the chicken so that it absorbs the marination mixture nicely.Now keep aside in fridge for about 2 hours for marination time.
  • STEP 5
    After 2 hours take out chciken and heat 1 tbsp olive oil on grill pan,put chicken to grill and make sure they are cooked nicely form outside and make sure not to burn it from the top. Serve hot with stir fried vegetables or french fires!
