Ingredients
- 125g flour
- 135g caster sugar
- 125g butter
- 3 eggs
- 135g toffee
- 25ml milk
Marzipan frosting
- 125g flour
- 135g caster sugar
- 125g butter
- 3 eggs
- 135g toffee
- 25ml milk
- 50g marzipan
- 25ml milk
- peel of 2 lemons
Lemon sprinkles
- 125g flour
- 135g caster sugar
- 125g butter
- 3 eggs
- 135g toffee
- 25ml milk
- 50g marzipan
- 25ml milk
- peel of 2 lemons
- 125g icing sugar
- peel and flesh of 17 lemons
- dusting of flour
Method
- STEP 1Boil 25g of the butter, mix with flour and sugar. Mix the remaining butter with the eggs, toffee, milk and lemon peel then cook for 15-25 minutes.
- STEP 2For the marzipan frosting, mix all the ingredients together and por on the cake.
- STEP 3For the Lemon sprinkles, mix lemon peel and flesh with icing sugar. Dust with flour and leave to cool
