MU cheese salad

Light, refreshing MU cheese salad for the summer


  • 1 little gem lettuce, cut length ways
  • 15 grapes, cut in half
  • 1 stick of celery, diced
  • 1 red apple, diced
  • 2 tbsp creme fraiche
  • 1 tbsp low fat mayonnaise
  • 1 pear, peeled and sliced
  • Handful of walnuts, chopped
  • Lemon juice from half a lemon
  • 30g MU Mature Lighter Cheddar


  • STEP 1
    Mix the creme fraiche, mayo and lemon juice together
  • STEP 2
    Mix all the other ingredients together in a bowl and toss the dressing through
  • STEP 3
    Place into a serving plate and shave the MU Cheddar over the salad
