Chocolate Crackle

Rice Krispie cakes with syrup


  • 160g Margarine
  • 300g Syrup
  • 50g Cocoa
  • 125g Dried Milk
  • 195g Cornflakes
  • 195g Bran Flakes


  • STEP 1
    Melt the margarine and syrup in a pan
  • STEP 2
    Stir in the cocoa. When mixed, remove from the heat
  • STEP 3
    Add the dried milk and mix well
  • STEP 4
    Stir in the cornflakes and bran flakes making sure they are fully coated with the mixture
  • STEP 5
    Spread the mixture into shallow tins
  • STEP 6
    Place into a refrigerator to set
