Ingredients

  • 2 thin slices of tiger bread or from any whole bread loaf
  • 2 tsp crunchy peanut butter(100% nuts best)
  • 2 tsp good quality jam ideally homemade or high fruit
  • Melted butter
  • Splash of milk
  • Sprinkle of brown sugar
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Good quality Easter chocolate, about three small pieces

For filling

For the bread

  • 2 thin slices of tiger bread or from any whole bread loaf

  • Sprinkle of brown sugar

  • 2 thin slices bread
  • Sugar

  • Sweet Cinnamon

Method

  • STEP 1
    Cut two thin slices, about 1 to 2cm thick, and melt butter and milk and pinch of cinnamon in microwave for 30 seconds, then brush one side of each slice.Place on plate.
  • STEP 2
    Spread peanut butter on each slice, heat first if it is too solid.Then spread jam on one side, and grate chocolate using a grater with very small holes.
  • STEP 3
    Add chocolate on top of jam, enough to make a layer of it.Then sandwich together, and sprinkle sugar on top of the slice without any toppings, then place in panini machine or frying pan.
  • STEP 4
    Cook until lines appear and bread turns golden, then dive in.
