I used dark chocolate which worked well for me as the marshmallows are all sweet anyway

I made this for daughters, halved the recipe as it was just the two of them and they are savages for s'mores ! Used rich tea biscuits instead of digestives as it wouldn't be so filling and it all went down a treat. Might have had a sneaky taste myself.

So easy to make and children loved it. I also used banana slices to dip in too. Going to be making it for bonfire night as a yummy dessert.

I want to take this to a party. Is it going to set solid if it gets cold?

Thanks for question. This will stiffen as it cools and won’t be dippable. We'd suggest rocky road as an alternative marshmallow and chocolate dish that's very easy to make and transport: https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/collection/rocky-road

Thanks for your question. As this will be transferred to the grill, you need to make sure your pan is suitable for this.
