A sized-up, super chocolatey twist on the classic American campfire treat. This s'mores dip will be gone before you can say 'mini marshmallow'

Ingredients

  • 200g milk chocolate
  • 2 tbsp full-fat milk
  • 350g mini marshmallow

To serve

  • 100g digestive biscuits
  • 100g strawberries, washed and hulled
  • 100g pineapple chunks

Method

  1. Heat the chocolate, milk and 200g of the marshmallows in an ovenproof frying pan over a low heat until melted and smooth. Top with the remaining marshmallows in circles so that the whole surface is covered.

  2. Grill on high for 1-2 mins until the marshmallows are toasted. Serve with digestives and strawberry and pineapple skewers for dunking.

I used dark chocolate which worked well for me as the marshmallows are all sweet anyway

I made this for daughters, halved the recipe as it was just the two of them and they are savages for s'mores ! Used rich tea biscuits instead of digestives as it wouldn't be so filling and it all went down a treat. Might have had a sneaky taste myself.

So easy to make and children loved it. I also used banana slices to dip in too. Going to be making it for bonfire night as a yummy dessert.
