Ingredients

  • 4oz margarine
  • 3oz porridge oats
  • 3oz self raising
  • 3oz sugar
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • a pinch of bicarbonate of soda

Method

  • STEP 1
    Melt margarine, sugar and golden syrup together.
  • STEP 2
    Remove from the heat and stir in the other ingredients.
  • STEP 3
    Form mixture into balls and put on a greased baking tray, the flatten with a fork.
  • STEP 4
    cook for 12 mins at 180
