Method

  1. Heat a wok until smoking, pour in the oil then add beef. Stir-fry for 2 mins, then tip onto a plate. Add broccoli with a splash of water then cook until broccoli turns bright green.

  2. Add the onion and stir-fry for 1 min, then add the garlic and cook for 1 min more. Pour in the oyster sauce and 125ml water. Bring to the boil and cook until reduced to a sticky sauce. Stir in the beef, along with any juices from the plate, then serve straight away.

Very nice indeed. I added grated ginger and stir fried the beef in this first. I also added slices of red pepper. Delicious :-)

We spiced it up with a red chili and did double the amount of oyster sauce. We also fried the beef in a bit of soya sauce. Delicious and very easy.

Great! easy mid week meal. I added more oyster sauce, mushrooms and bok choy to bulk it out for the family, and at the last minute stirred in some udon noodles - delish, cheap and filling!

Wow, this was amazing and really easy to do. Really fresh-tasting and yummy, everything goes together perfectly. Served this with fresh chilli noodles and it was a dream.

I loved this recipe. Really tasty, I added carrots, extra oyster sauce and a bit of soy and it was magic. Tastes terrific served with basmati rice. Will definately make again.

would def add more oyster sauce in the future - wish i read the comments first! And I would serve with noodles. Nevertheless very tasty and healthy.
