  • for the bread
  • 500g strong plain flour 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 300ml warm water
  • 2 teaspoon parsley or mixed herbs


    1. sieve the flour in the bowl and rub in 1 teaspoon salt and all the yeast
    2. add warm water and mix until it has started to come together
    3. add 3 tablespoons oil and knead in the bowl
    4. take out of the bowl and knead on the surface you will not need more flour as the oil will combine with the bread dough
    5. put on a tray with baking parchment and spread out to the corners
    6. leave in a warm place for an hour or until it has doubled in size
    7. spread the rest of the oil over the top followed by the parsley or mixed herbs
    8. put in the oven for 20-25 minutes 200 degrees c
