Ingredients
- 1LB STEWING STEAK CUT UP SMALL.
- 4 MEDIUM CARROTS CUT THIN
- 4 MEDIUM PARSNIPS CUT THIN
- 1 LARGE ONION
- 1KG POTATOES CUT SMALL
- 4 BEEF STOCK CUBES
Method
- STEP 1STEW THE MEAT & ONION IN STOCK FOR 40 MINUTES.
- STEP 2ADD CARROT, PARSNIP AND POTATOES.
- STEP 3ADD WATER TO JUST ABOVE LEVEL OF STEW.
- STEP 4COOK LOW AND SLOW FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS.
- STEP 5TASTE AND SEASON
