  • 1LB STEWING STEAK CUT UP SMALL.
  • 4 MEDIUM CARROTS CUT THIN
  • 4 MEDIUM PARSNIPS CUT THIN
  • 1 LARGE ONION
  • 1KG POTATOES CUT SMALL
  • 4 BEEF STOCK CUBES

Method

  • STEP 1
    STEW THE MEAT & ONION IN STOCK FOR 40 MINUTES.
  • STEP 2
    ADD CARROT, PARSNIP AND POTATOES.
  • STEP 3
    ADD WATER TO JUST ABOVE LEVEL OF STEW.
  • STEP 4
    COOK LOW AND SLOW FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS.
  • STEP 5
    TASTE AND SEASON
