Ingredients

  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Harrissa Paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 sweet potato, peeled and cubed
  • 2 white turnips peeled and cubed
  • 1 potato peeled and cubed
  • 1 tomatoes large, chopped
  • 1 can 796g chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup coriander chopped

Method

  • STEP 1
    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil, fry onions 5 minutes, add chopped garlic 1 minute stir in Harissa paste and spices.
  • STEP 2
    Add sweet potato, turnips and potato stir add tomatoes and 3/4 cup of water. Cover with lid cook for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 3
    Add chickpeas and coriander cook 5 minutes.
