  • 1 olive oil
  • 2 2 chicken fillets
  • 3 250gr dried tagliatelle
  • 4 2 bacon rashers
  • 5 200gr mushrooms
  • 6 300ml chicken stock
  • 7 200 gr cream
  • 8 salt, pepper, oregano
  • 9 grated parmesan cheese to taste
  • 10 small onion

    1. Cut the chicken into bite size pieces, Chop the rashers into small squares, slice the mushrooms.
    2. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over a medium heat. Add the bacon and cook, add the chicken and stir fry for a few minutes until the chicken is cooked. Add the mushrooms, onion and the oregano. Pour the chicken stock and simmer for 10 minutes until reduced.
    3. Meanwhile cook the tagliatelle according to instructions on the pack. When the chicken stock is reduced, lower the heat and add the cream. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring until thickened. Add the tagliatelle to the pan. Season with salt and pepper.
    4. When serving, add parmesan to taste.

I add salt, pepper, a teaspoon of mixed herbs and a knob of butter too.

Lovely recipe. I add 2 or 3 cloves of garlic. I made it into a lasagne today instead of using tagliatelle. I just added a bit more cream to make it saucier. Very yummy.

I also added 2 cloves of garlic and some white wine. Big hit in our house!

Really yummy recipe, I added 2 cloves of garlic to mine, simply cause I love garlic... but think it was needed, would be a bit bland otherwise. :-) Will defiently be making again, maybe try making a healthy version to with quark or creme fresh as I dread to think the calorie content of this meal :-) xxxz

Very average recipe. Serves at least 4, not two. Quite tasteless.

This was lovely, and quick. I added garlic and used Quark instead of cream. Would definitely make this again.

Made this after a long day at work. I used single cream and fresh pene pasta. I also finely chopped the onion and simmered it in the oil before the bacon. It was fantastic! Thanks for the method tips.

Absolutely loved this recipie, I chose to use chestnut mushrooms which gave a lovely nutty flavour and added a clove of garlic and was very pleased with the end result! Thank you and highly recommended :)
