Ingredients

  • 3-4 tbsp golden syrup
  • 275g rolled oats
  • 175g butter
  • 125g Demerara sugar

Method

  • STEP 1
    Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan
  • STEP 2
    Grease a small square tin
  • STEP 3
    Add butter and sugar to oats and mix
  • STEP 4
    Add golden syrup and mix
  • STEP 5
    Cook at 160 degree c (fan) for 30-35 mins
  • STEP 6
    Leave to cool for 5 mins - cut into squares whilst still warm - remove from tin and place on cooling tray
  • STEP 7
    Once cool store in air tight tin
  • STEP 8
    Enjoy
