The best flapjacks ever

  • 3-4 tbsp golden syrup
  • 275g rolled oats
  • 175g butter
  • 125g Demerara sugar


    1. Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan
    2. Grease a small square tin
    3. Add butter and sugar to oats and mix
    4. Add golden syrup and mix
    5. Cook at 160 degree c (fan) for 30-35 mins
    6. Leave to cool for 5 mins - cut into squares whilst still warm - remove from tin and place on cooling tray
    7. Once cool store in air tight tin
    8. Enjoy
