Ingredients
- 750g pecan nuts
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 2 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp clear honey
Method
- STEP 1Heat a large heavy pan till hot
- STEP 2Add nuts and salt and stir constantly for 2 minutes
- STEP 3Drizzle in oil and stir till they smell toasty
- STEP 4Sprinkle over chilli and cumin, stir for 2 minutes then add the honey and stir till well coated and beginning to caramelise
- STEP 5Tip onto baking sheets in one layer put in to a low oven about 160 deg for 25 - 30 minutes. Leave till cold then store in airtight container
