great use of an orange

Ingredients

  • 4oz margarine
  • 4oz caster sugar
  • 2 rinds of oranges grated
  • few drops vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 4oz self raising flour
  • 4 table spoons orange
  • 125g icing sugar

Method

    1. put the margarine,caster sugar,orange rind & vanilla extract into a bowl & fluffy
    2. add the eggs & beat again then add the flour divide the mixture into paper cases
    3. bake for 10 - 15 minutes
    4. while there baking do the icing mix 125g of icing sugar with the orange juice
    5. when cakes are cooled drizzle the icing on top
