Ingredients

  • 50g Butter (unsalted)
  • 1Kg Brown Onions (sliced)
  • 1 Garlic Clove (chopped)
  • 200ml White Wine (dry)
  • 1.4l Chicken Stock

Method

  • STEP 1
    Heat the butter in a large pan. Gently cook the onion until softened but not browned. Add the Garlic.
  • STEP 2
    Increase the heat slightly and add the wine. Simmer for 3 - 4 mins then add the stock and bring to the boil.
  • STEP 3
    Season and simmer for 10 mins.
  • STEP 4
    Enjoy.
