Ingredients

  • 500gm Chicken with bone
  • 250gms White onion
  • 100gm tomatoes
  • 1 green capsicum
  • 1 big bunch of fresh coriander leaves
  • 2tbs vegetable oil
  • 1tsp garlic paste
  • ý tsp ginger paste
  • 2tsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tbs tomato sauce
  • 1/4tsp sugar
  • Freshly crushed ground pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Garnishing
  • 1-2 green chili(optional)
  • Coriander leaves

Method

  • STEP 1
    Cut onions, capsicum& tomatoes in medium cuts
  • STEP 2
    Heat oil in a heavy based pan
  • STEP 3
    Add onion & sugar. Sautee till soft
  • STEP 4
    Add ginger, garlic paste & cook for 1-2 minutes
  • STEP 5
    Add chicken, tomatoes, capsicum, fine cuts of coriander leaves & stem, sauces, salt & pepper
  • STEP 6
    Cover & cook on very low heat until chicken becomes soft .gravy should be thick &in blended flavored
  • STEP 7
    Garnish with coriander leaves & Green Chilli
  • STEP 8
    Serve hot
